My 2025 Travel Wrapped

Welcome to my 2025 Travel Wrapped!

Better late than ever, I know. Apologies. But here we are.

2025 travel was partly planned, partly spontaneous. Exactly my style.

As the year came to a close, I took a moment to look back at what it gave me. On the travel side, it brought me an unforgettable European summer spent with family, a trip back home to celebrate a milestone with my partner’s family, a solo journey to a brand new country, and a spontaneous road trip with my partner and best friend that reminded me why unplanned trips often become the most memorable.

So this is my 2025 Travel Wrapped, a snapshot of where I went, what stayed with me, and the moments that made the year feel full.

Here’s my 2025, in flights, feelings, and very good food.

My 2025 Travel Stats

The stats, because it wouldn’t be a Travel Wrapped without them

Countries I visited: 6
Canada, France, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States

Cities and regions explored: 11
Antibes, Barcelona, Boston, Burlington, Cape Cod, Cancun, London, Mont-Tremblant, Nantes, Quimper, Vancouver

Total days vacationed: 32

Times I said “I could live here”: At least 9
I am emotionally very easy to convince.

My 2025 Travel Personality

If I had to break it down, this year looked like:

10% chaos
Missed turns, road trip driving fatigue, and surprise weather change.

40% food-based planning
Choosing neighborhoods, cities, and even entire trips based on what I wanted to eat. Zero regrets, I am a proud foodie.

30% “this wasn’t on the itinerary”
Long walks that turned into full afternoons, unplanned cafés, a boat day that led us to explore a private island when we were anchored, and a spontaneous mini golf pit stop.

Yes, the math doesn’t exactly math here, but 90% of the time, I walked everywhere. Very proud of that, just wanted to include that in here ;)

Most revisited travel mood: Coastal calm.
If there was water nearby, I was thriving.

My 2025 Highlights

Highlights, favourites, and things I won’t stop thinking about

Most cinematic arrival: Antibes, France
Yachts on yachts on yachts. Truly no notes.

Top food moment
Now, I never thought much of fish and chips. Always great, but never wow. Until I tried them in London, and honestly, I get it. Honorable mention, for sure.

But the real top spot goes to the restaurant: Yuko in Antibes. My god, the flavor combinations blew me away. Fresh, playful textures, and immaculate service! An eclectic local spot great for date night or an outing with friends.

Top drink moment
Two strong contenders here. First, a planteur, a rum-based tropical punch that always feels like vacation in a glass (I’ve had this before, one of my faves). But for a first-timer, I have to give it to a Guinness in London. I honestly didn’t have any expectations, but sipping it in the country it’s from had me fully appreciating its classic status.

Favourite experiences

  • Napping on a floating paddleboard during a boat day in Antibes. Let me tell you, I was knocked tf out, I have deemed it as the best nap ever.

  • Our impromptu Cape Cod mini golf adventure that became a core memory.

  • Taking in the views from Primrose Hill in London, the kind of solo-traveler pause that makes a city feel breathtakingly cinematic.

Most photographed thing
The sea. Streets leading to the sea. Boats.

Here’s to more coastal calm, spontaneous detours, and saying “I could live here” at least nine more times.

May 2026 bring the same rhythms, surprises, and very good food.
